Rihanna Makes 10 Weeks at #1 In The UK – Well Done!

Bajan sensation Rihanna has ruled the British Charts at #1 for 10 weeks with her song “Umbrella”. This makes the song the longest running number one in a decade! Well done! She is only the 7th entertainer in the history of the chart to achieve this milestone. The achievement is covered by the BBC below:

R&B singer Rihanna has scored the longest-running number one single in a decade after claiming a 10th week at the top of the UK chart.

Umbrella becomes the first song since Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around in 1994 to spend more than nine weeks in pole position on the countdown.
